Milverton, ON, CANADA – Wednesday September 22, 2021 – The three final rounds of the condensed 2021 NASCAR Pinty’s Series season will be held this weekend at Delaware Speedway.  This triple header is sure to deliver one of the most extraordinary finales yet as each of 22 Racing’s drivers are in the hunt for their first NASCAR Pinty’s Series championship title.

The 2021 NASCAR Pinty’s Series season has been an unusual one in many ways including the postponement of three rounds due to inclement weather; two at Autodrome Chaudiere and one at Flamboro Speedway. The Canadian Tire 125 will take place on Friday, Sept. 24 and the Qwick Wick 125 will take place Sunday, Sept. 26 leading into the traditional season finale, the Pinty’s Fall Brawl.

Points-leader Alex Tagliani managed a second-place finish in his only start at Delaware in 2017. The driver of No 18 Rona / Viagra / St Hubert Chevrolet Camaro has finished inside the top-five in all but one race in 2021. A season highlight for Tagliani included a prestigious win at GP3R. Ahead by eleven points going into the weekend ‘TAG’ and his No 18 crew will be looking to charge hard in each race to extend his points lead.

This weekend will be Marc-Antoine Camirand’s first ever start at the Delaware Speedway’s 1/2-mile paved oval.  Camirand faced adversity early in the season but then rebounded in style at CTMP earning his first victory of the 2021 NASCAR Pinty’s Series season and his second since he began competing in Canada’s premier series. Driver of the No. 22 GM Paille Chevrolet Camaro currently sits 9th in the standings with points up for grabs in each of the three races this weekend.

Series’ Rookie Treyten Lapcevich, who currently sits third in the points has shown speed and composure at every track he’s visited this season.  The Rookie of the Year contender not only made an impressive CTMP debut finishing on the podium at his first visit to this famed road course he also earned his first pole and a new Series’ track record at Flamboro Speedway. Expect the determined driver of the No. 20 RGC Sports/QwickWick Chevrolet to demonstrate his talent behind the wheel on this oval that he has turned many laps at in other highly competitive divisions.

Live Streaming is available for all three races on TSN.ca, RDS2 and NBC TrackPass in the United States.   NASCAR.ca provides live timing and scoring on it’s Race Center page.
