Thursday Sept. 26, 2019, Milverton, ON:   The NASCAR Pinty’s Series and 22 Racing are set for the season finale this Saturday at Jukasa Motor Speedway.  It will be event number 13 on the 2019 schedule winding up a busy travel season for the teams.

As has been the case for the past two races, Alex Tagliani driver of the #18 Rona/EpiPen Chevrolet will be unable to participate as he has not gotten the green light from his doctors yet.  However, this will now give him the off season to get back healthy again in preparation for 2020.  In his place will again be Alex Guenette who drove the #18 last weekend at Loudon New Hampshire and finished a very successful seventh.  As Guenette now has a race under his belt in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in 2019 with the new General Tires look for him to be even more competitive this weekend.

Marc Antoine Camirand driver of the #22 GM Paille Chevrolet Camaro will try to finish off his season on another high note after finishes of 2nd, 9th, 5th in his last three outings.  In three previous starts here, he has finishes all inside the top ten with his best being a fourth place in the spring 2018 event.

Donald Theetge driver of the #24 Mercedes-Benz St. Nicolas/Circuit Acura entry will be on the top of his game this weekend and says nothing but a win will satisfy him after his disappointing run at New Hampshire last weekend.  After clearing the second-place car he had his sights set on leader Lacroix when something happened to the drive train of the #24 car, and he was forced to the garage for the remainder of the event.  He however loves the Jukasa high banked 5/8 mile oval and has had good success here with two 2nd place finishes in four starts.

All NASCAR Pinty’s Series races in 2019 are live streamed on TSN.ca and the TSN app in Canada and on FansChoice.tv in the United States.
