Milverton, ON – Tuesday, August 16, 2022 – Kyle Steckly walked away with a 6th place finish at Sunset Speedway on Saturday.

Kyle and his No. 22 APC Auto Parts / CANUSA / Qwick Wick Chevrolet Camaro traveled to Innisfil, Ontario Saturday night for round 7 of the APC United Late Model Series. Kyle had the 8th fastest time in practice and qualified 7th. He started the Stewart’s and Kubota 100 in 8th position after the invert. Steckly battled hard and gained a few positions, but between restarts and lane choices nothing seemed to go his way and he finished 6th.

“Our APC Auto Parts / Qwick Wick Camaro was pretty good at Sunset Speedway and we had a really good long run car, but had some difficult situations and I just used up my tires a little too much trying to get to the front,” Steckly said.

After this race Kyle is 2nd in the APC United Late Model Series points standings, only 12 points behind leader JR Fitzpatrick.

Next Kyle will race in the Special Features Night at Delaware Speedway on Friday, August 19th, followed by a trip to Sauble Speedway with the APC United Late Model Series on Saturday, August 27th. Kyle’s previous races can be viewed on the Rogers TV London YouTube Channel and GForceTV Youtube Channel
