February 24, 2021 – Milverton, ON, CANADA – Kyle Steckly is set to take to the Pro Late Model grid with the intention of running the full schedule at Flamboro Speedway along with select appearances in the APC United Late Model series in 2021.
Steckly’s new venture into this highly competitive division is made possible by the support of numerous returning sponsors with Qwick Wick Fire Starters and AW Millwrights stepping up as primary and co-primary sponsors respectively.
Milverton-based AW Millwrights is an industrial and construction millwright shop that offer mobile services and 24/7 emergency breakdown services. 2021 marks nine consecutive years that AW Millwrights has backed Steckly, increasing their support to co-primary sponsor making this coming season feasible.
Also returning as primary sponsor for Steckly’s Pro Late Model efforts is Qwick Wick Fire Starters. Like 22 Racing, Qwick Wick is a family-owned business with a reputation for quality. Known as the Worlds Best Fire Starter, Qwick Wicks are made from a proprietary mixture of ingredients that includes recycled wax and wood shavings. Manufactured without kerosene, these Canadian-made fire starters are extremely safe and reliable for homeowners with wood stoves or fireplaces, campers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Last season Qwick Wick supported Steckly’s participation in the Laps for Muscular Dystrophy program by matching Steckly’s donations. Laps for Muscular Dystrophy is a program where drivers donate one dollar for every lap they lead, raising vital funds to assist those living with Muscular Dystrophy.
Qwick Wick Fire Starters are available at Sobeys Wholesale across Canada and other fine retailers.
Steckly is proud of the continued partnerships and support of the following long-time supporters who’ve played a key role in his rise through the racing ranks; Milverton Food Town, Lift Solutions, Schmidt Logging, Triple B Spraying, Iron Bridge Fabrication, High Fluid Products, Trailers by Jim Bray, REMAX Jim Bowman, Thomson Signs and Phoenix Electric.
After earning multiple Mini Stock wins and podiums Steckly is fully aware of what awaits him this season stepping up to Pro Late Models from that talent-packed division.
“My rookie Pro Late Model season will be a steep learning curve. Applying what I’ve learned from each race will guide me through the next races and earning the respect of an extremely competitive field of skilled drivers will be an equally important goal.” said the pilot of the #24 Qwick Wick/ AW Millwrights Chevrolet Camaro.
“I’m humbled to have the continued support of AW Millwrights and Qwick Wick and I look forward to being a part of their teams this season.” added the 15-year-old son of four-time NASCAR Pintys Series Champion Scott Steckly.
