Milverton, ON, CANADA – Friday May 20, 2022 – The APC United Late Model Series takes to the track for the first event of 2022 this weekend at Sunset Speedway for the Dayco 100. The highly anticipated season gets underway on Saturday, May 21st at the 1/3 mile paved oval located in Innisfil, Ontario.
The APC United Late Model Series is highly competitive with a mix of veteran and rookie drivers all contending for the top spot. Kyle Steckly was the 2021 Flamboro Speedway Pro Late Model Champion and he is looking forward to this new challenge. “I’m really excited to start the season off this weekend with my No. 22 APC Auto Parts / CANUSA / Qwick Wick Chevrolet Camaro at Sunset Speedway. I’m hoping to have a clean opening night and be in contention for the win at the end of the race,” Kyle said.
Race day kicks off on Saturday with the spectator gates opening at 3:30 p.m. and qualifying beginning at 5:55 p.m.. The Dayco 100 will go green at 8:05 p.m..
